I have often wondered how easy it would be to pay the London Congestion Charge. Recently I found out. It was so easy that the first I knew of it was when the charge showed up on my credit card.

Interestingly the charge applied to a day when my car was safely tucked up in its garage and I was enjoying the efficiency of Switzerland's outstanding public transport system!
