Jaguar Land Rover Death Valley tests

Jaguar and Land Rover have been out this week conducting hot weather tests in Death Valley on Jaguar and Land Rover test mules.

The Jaguar mule has been set up to look like a current Jaguar XF, which was the disguise used for the prototypes of the new small Jaguar.

Not so easy to identify is the Land Rover mule. It’s very hard to work out what the made up bodywork was covering up. The front end looked like a Range Rover, although it had what looked like a combination of LED light arrays.

The Jaguar was first photographed on the road close to Furnace Creek in Death Valley, while I took the stationary pictures of both cars in the car park at Furnace Creek.
